Lori and Shane are a super cool couple. They are goofy and love to make eachother laugh. And on top of it all they are loads of fun! We met up a few weeks ago for their engagement pictures and I had so much fun with these two. I’m really looking forward to their wedding in September!
I think these two really like each other!

Alie and Joel are a great, great couple. They are so cute! When Alie first contacted me about photographing her wedding I immediately went on Facebook to get a better idea of what kind of person she was, see if I could sneak a peak at her fiance and just get to know her a bit better from her page. Well I almost fell off my seat when I saw her fiance. He just happens to be the younger brother of a friend I had in high school. Alie had no idea that I knew Joel and Joel had no idea she had contacted me. It was a really fun surprise.
Alie and Joel, I had such a great time hanging out with you. You two are so adorable and just perfect for eachother. I’m so excited to photograph your wedding!!
A portrait of Alie. Look at her eyes! So beautiful!
I told her I’d blog this! She’s my blog stalker….at least the only one I know about!
I love this next series. I told her she should splash him just a little. Well she threw a bit of a wave at him. So funny!

So I am finally blogging a great wedding I did last Saturday. As I wrote in an earlier post, my computer went on the fritz and is working very, very slowly. I’m still waiting for the new one to show up (hopefully Tuesday!) but I was able to get a few images ready for the blog.
Amy and Seth were married at Hope Lutheran, South Campus. After weeks of rain and crappy weather, they had a great sunny day….until the ceremony! Just as the service began, the rain came pouring down and when they were saying their ‘I Do’s’ the thunder was booming outside! They say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day, so I have to wonder what it means when tornado sirens are going off during your reception! I’m sure it means many years of happiness! It was a crazy evening but lots of fun! Here are a few images from their day.
Wedding Venue: Hope Lutheran, South Campus
Reception Venue: Ramada
Brides Dress: Bridal Shop
Grooms Tux: Men’s Warehouse
Flowers: Hornbachers – white roses, pink peonies, stephanotis
Make-Up and Hair: Cloud Nine – Becky Wood

So I have not written on here in a while and I’m having withdrawls! Last week my computer went on the fritz and I had to buy a new one. I am still waiting for that one to arrive and until then I am not working on any pictures. I am hoping that either later this weekend or on Monday I will have some images to share.
And boy do I have a ton of them! Last weekend I had a wedding that was really fun. Then I had two engagement sessions that were a blast!! One of my future brides even admitted to stalking my blog which was really great to hear. If there are any more of you out there, feel free to leave comments. I love comments. Bring on the comments!!!
I am also currently (well when I get the new computer I can continue) working on making a new website for my images which will be weddings AND seniors and children. Currently my website focuses on weddings and I want it to reflect all the work I do. So expect that in the coming months!
Anyways, I just wanted to write a quick update! Have a great weekend and ENJOY THE SUN!!!! FINALLY!!!

The new love of my life…

So the other night I kept waking up in the middle of the night afraid that I hadn’t written the latest meeting I scheduled into my 5 different calendars. I decided that I needed to have something electronic so if things switched around it would be easy to change and I wanted something that I could plug into my computer and it would automatically update my iCal. I finally decided to get an IPod Touch. Have you seen these amazing little machines? They are basically an IPhone without the phone. You have your calendar, Google maps, the internet (all you need is Wi-Fi) and contacts. It can hold photos, and music, just like an IPod. If North Dakota had AT&T service I would have gotten the IPhone. Someday
Well I’ve fallen in love and wanted to share some pictures.
